Tubex Nature Standard for Deciduous Hedge & Tree Planting (0.6m) *Recommended*
Based on the same design as the Tubex Ecostart, Tubex Nature Standard is the first tree shelter to combine externally tested biodegradability in soil with scale of manufacture and proven performance.
Ideal for areas with dense woodland or limited access, Tubex Nature Standard is the most responsible alternative where collection and recycling is not practical.
Manufactured using a bio-based blend, including sugarcane, corn and starch, Tubex Nature Standard can be left to biodegrade in situ and will, over time, start to degrade and breakdown into water and CO2 through a microbiological process.
As well as being biodegradable Tubex Nature Standard improves the micro-climate around the plant, enhancing growth during the establishment period as well as suppressing grass and weeds. The Tubex Standard offers reliable protection against rabbits and wind at 0.6m high.
Suitable for trees used in hedging and landscaping.
The Tubex Nature Standard suits any type of soil conditions with its pre-fitted releasable ratchet tie for attachment to a stake or cane.
