🌱 Buy Goat Willow (Salix caprea) Saplings – Ideal for Wildlife-Friendly Planting

Goat Willow, also known as Pussy Willow, is one of the most attractive native willow species. These young saplings are perfect for planting around garden ponds, along hedgerows, or in naturalised areas. Known for their distinctive fluffy catkins that appear in early spring, long before the leaves, Goat Willow adds early-season interest and supports a range of pollinators.

This native British willow tree can grow up to 10 metres tall and is more tolerant of dry soils than other willow species. It's commonly seen at woodland edges or in wetter spots where its roots can thrive. Our Goat willow saplings are currently 10–20cm in height and can be planted throughout the year.
