Cowslip - Primula veris

The Cowslip is a perennial, preferring grassland, scrub can be found on both lime-rich and clay soils. Growing to approximately 5-10cms.

The flowers are golden yellow and appear between April-May often seen in wild flower meadows and on the grass verges.

Food plant for selected Butterflies and Moths.
