American Red Oak - Quercus rubra

The leaves of American Red Oak trees turn a vibrant red colour in the autumn, especially when the tree is young.  American Red Oak is often planted in commercial plantations for diversity and ornamental value.

Like most oak trees, American Red Oak grows well in deep well-drained soils. Oaks do not tolerate a lot of shade and prefers open situations.

The current height of our American Red Oak trees is approximately 30-50cm and they can be planted out all year round.
