The Small Leaved Lime - Tilia cordata tree is native to limestone areas and chalky soils in England and Wales. The fragrant flowers attract bees in early July.

Small Leaved Lime - Tilia cordata leaves are alternate and 1-3in long they are dark green and shiny on top with orange tufts of hair in vein junctions on the undersides. The stalk is not hairy. The Small Leaved Lime - Tilia cordata timber is ideal for carving and turning. It is still used for sounding boards and keys of pianos and organs.

The current height of our Small Leaved Lime - Tilia cordata trees is approximately 15-30cm and they can be planted out all year round.

package arrivmyed on time & in good condition, planted in the ground on day of arrival, gave each one ⅓ of a gallon of water every other day as it was very warm weather, half way through the second week I went to look at them & saw new growth.. if I happen to need more trees I will return & will highly recommend treesbypost.co.uk
