The Crab Apple (Malus sylvestris) is a popular tree which produces beautiful blossom in spring and small colourful apples in the autumn. Brilliant for decorating and arranging in the home. In folklore the star shaped core was often used in druid and witch rituals.
The apples are used to make Crab Apple jelly which is delicious on crumpets and used as a sweet relish for roast meats. This tree will grow up to 10m. Crabapple trees are also a welcome addition to mixed hedges.
The current height of these trees is approximately 30-50cm and they can be planted out all year round. Each Wedding Favour consists of a single Crab Apple tree packed into a black drawstring bag then into a presentation eco friendly cotton bag.
