Hybrid Larch Trees - Larix eurolepis

The Hybrid Larch (Larix eurolepis) originates from Dunkeld, Perthshire at the turn of the 20th century and is the offspring of the Japanese and European Larch. A pretty and fast growing deciduous conifer with needles shed in the late autumn.

Slightly longer needles and more vigorous than either parent. Requires plenty of space and light to grow. Frost hardy.

The current height of the trees is approximately 15-30cm and they can be planted out all year round.

  • Plant in wet, dry and open sites
  • Likes most well drained soil
  • Loses needles in the winter
  • Faster growing than European Larch
