Lesser Knapweed - Centaurea nigra

A perennial, Lesser Knapweed (Centaurea nigra) is suited to grassland and scrub and grows to approximately 50-80cms. An excellent choice of Wildflower to plant in meadow, paddock or grassed area of garden.

Producing mauve thistle-like flowers, which are not prickly, it flowers during July-September. Attractive to bees, butterflies and finches. Available now for planting.
