Field Scabious - Knautia arvensis

The Field Scabious (Knautia arvensis) is a very pretty perennial producing large blue-lilac "pin-cushion" flower heads. It reaches a height of 40-80cm and flowers from June through to October.

The Field Scabious prefers open woodlands and grassland areas but can grow on chalk. It attracts bees and butterflies in abundance.

Plants are supplied as individual plug plants ready for quick and easy planting.
